Education. Awareness. Stewardship.
SCHOOL PROGRAMS

EDUCATION. AWARENESS.  STEWARDSHIP.

We are dedicated to creating a green-minded generation by teaching about the importance of bees as a pathway to STEM, conservation, and innovations in agriculture. Through the power of science and stewardship, we cultivate the green leaders of tomorrow.

We teach in schools and nonprofits and partner with corporations in the US and abroad, both virtually and in person.

Our programs are provided at no cost to schools and nonprofits in our dedication to equity and inclusion. Special thanks to our generous grantmakers, donors, and corporate partners for sponsoring our programs nationwide.

Explore Planet Bee's standards-aligned STEM Program, designed to serve a wide range of grade levels and learning styles. Developed by state-certified teachers and entomologists, our comprehensive bee lesson units include synchronous lessons and asynchronous digital resources that explore bee importance, anatomy, behavior, and ecological impact. All lessons feature differentiated supplementary materials, student handouts, videos, and scripted plans.

Our Native Bee Community Science Program for students fosters inquiry-based learning and provides a comprehensive toolkit for skill development.

By forging strategic partnerships with corporations and funders, we deliver STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) education to empower the community, fostering a paradigm shift towards pollinator conservation and environmental stewardship

BRINGING LOCAL COMMUNITIES TOGETHER

ALL THE BUZZ

“I am so happy that my class got to experience the Planet Bee presentation. They learned so many interesting facts about bees. It was presented in a fun, age appropriate way that was engaging to all students. They talked about it for weeks after and were so fascinated with the facts they learned, we had to do a unit on it. Wonderful lesson, wonderful artifacts (the observation hive was really fascinating), and fun activities. The presenters worked really well with my kids, even a few who have special needs. Thank you for everything Planet Bee, it was amazing!”

Join Planet Bee for a dynamic (and fun!) virtual or in-person team-building workshop. We create a buzz as participants bond over hands-on workshops such as honey tasting, a native bee house build, or even a campus bee hive program where team members suit up for a hive-dive as they learn about these important pollinators. We customize workshops to align with your organization’s green initiatives and social responsibility goals!

All proceeds from these workshops fund our educational STEM programs in schools and nonprofits at no cost.
