Beekeeping is an amazing adventure, but can be intimidating to the uninitiated. This is a great place to get started. We will cover the first steps to keeping bees and let you know what you need to get started, including an overview of beekeeping equipment. We’ll discuss honey bee biology and diversity, as well as challenges you might encounter, and where to look for solutions. You’ll even get an opportunity to see inside a live beehive, as we safely open one up! The main goal of this workshop is to get everyone started on their journey towards reaching their personal beekeeping goals.
