Teachers will have the opportunity to suit up and experience the inside of a live beehive. Our knowledgeable beekeeper will open up the hive and teach educators firsthand about these essential pollinators including their life cycle, anatomy, 3 castes, the different jobs they perform throughout their life, as well as discussing bees’ current struggles and how to help. Teachers can take STEM learning a step further by enrolling in our Incorporate Environmental STEM & NGSS into your Curriculum virtual workshop.
