Debra is the Founder of Planet Bee Foundation and now serves on the Board of Directors after retiring from her full-time staff role in the summer of 2025. Based in Washington, DC, she brings over 40 years of experience in education, having held roles such as public school teacher, parent education director, curriculum writer, college professor, college supervisor for student teachers, program director, and executive director. Her lifelong dedication to teaching, leadership, and environmental education continues to guide Planet Bee’s mission and growth.
