In Planet Bee's commitment to educating and engaging students of all ages, we offer a range of programs for companies and their employees. Whether you're looking to strengthen workplace culture through team building, reach philanthropic goals, or improve public relations, we've got you covered! This initiative not only supports the green directives of companies while bolstering team-building but also has the added benefit of creating widespread awareness of honey bee and native bee decline, both within the company and outside of it.
All proceeds from corporate workshop fees go towards providing STEM lessons to students across the country at no cost in our commitment to social justice!.
Each virtual and in-person workshop includes a presentation about bees and their importance, Q&A, and a hands-on activity (details below). Our workshops are designed to be family-friendly.

CORPORATE PROGRAMS
Get ready to suit up and enjoy your very own beehive! Our Adopt-a-Hive program brings the bees right to your corporate campus with the installation of your start-up apiary! Consisting of three hives, your apiary will buzz with support from our staff entomologist, Dr. Jason Graham, and his esteemed team of experienced beekeepers, providing you with monthly beehive maintenance and a pollinator prescription to maintain a healthy hive.
Once your hive is bustling, your team will have the opportunity to build a beekeepers club, conduct a monthly hive dive and host a honey-spinning workshop, one of the sweetest rewards of protecting our pollinators!
One beehive can house up to 60,000 bees, which will greatly increase pollination services and habitat vitality in your local area. Not to mention, you will create widespread awareness of the importance of honey bees both within the company and outside of it.
Our current Adopt-A-Hive partners include Google, Stanford, Keller Estates, The GIANT Company and Sutro Tower, Inc. In 2012, the Environmental Defense Fund recommended our Adopt-A-Hive Program in their summer issue.

ADOPT A HIVE PROGRAM
This program includes beehive installation and bee basics lessons for employees and students with opportunities for everyone to suit up, open the hive, and investigate frames of bees with our trained beekeepers.
HONEY TASTING WORKSHOP
Join us for a lively, guided honey-tasting workshop where your team will learn about the inner workings of a beehive and how bees make honey while smelling and tasting a variety of yummy honey! We will ship honey directly to participants’ homes prior to the event.
BEESWAX CRAFTS WORKSHOP
Discover the art of crafting natural beeswax-based products in our guided workshop. Participants have the choice of making healing balms, lip balms, and other personalized items for their own use. Dive deeper into the history, uses, and science behind beeswax production as part of this enriching experience.
LUNCH AND LEARN BEE WORKSHOPS
Bring the wonders of the bee world to your workspace with an engaging one-hour presentation by Planet Bee! Join us as our esteemed chief scientist, Dr. Jason Graham, shares insights from his entomology research and leads an interactive Q&A session.
NATIVE BEE NEST BUILDING WORKSHOP
Join us for a rewarding one-hour volunteer experience where team members can build and take home their very own native bee house, providing essential nest habitats for local bee populations.
HONEY INFUSION WORKSHOP
Discover the world of honey in a guided workshop where your team will learn about honey and how to enhance the taste and aroma while creating their own unique concoction. Choose from a variety of herbs, spices and fruits to enhance and personalize your jar of honey!
POLLINATORS IN YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD
Gather your teams for an exciting campus adventure as you search for pollinators! Led by Planet Bee scientists, participants will explore your campus, documenting observations of plants, birds, insects, and all living things. This fun outdoor workshop promotes gentle activity and sparks youthful curiosity. Join us for a memorable journey through nature right on your doorstep!
PERFECT PAIRINGS WORKSHOP
Craft your ideal Charcuterie Board! Unlock the art of pairing honey with savory delights in our charcuterie board workshop. Your team will learn the secrets behind creating the perfect balance of flavors as they pair honey with an assortment of cheeses, meats, and delectable accompaniments. Encourage teamwork and creativity as colleagues collaborate to curate a culinary masterpiece.
HONEYED PIZZA WORKSHOP
Explore the sweet side of pizza making with our Honeyed Pizza Workshop.
