Carmen is a San Francisco native and UC Davis alum with a B.A. in economics. Prior to university, she was in the Teacher Academy Program at Abraham Lincoln High School where she got to volunteer in elementary schools, fueling her interest in supporting educational programs while bringing her economics background into the mix. She appreciates a good book and is a crafting fanatic – painting, sewing, beading, you name it!
