David is a historian, educator, author, and house-husband.  I have four kids ranging in age from 10 to 23.   I've taught in high school and college classrooms and also outdoors, where I've worked with folks ages 8 to 80.   I play piano and Appalachian dulcimer, and I love to sing around the campfire and look at the stars.  I've been a Philadelphian since 1999, but my heart is in New Mexico.
