Dimitri has been teaching Spanish to middle school students for the past 10 years and has been passionate about beekeeping since childhood. Growing up in Spain, he spent summers helping his uncle, a beekeeper, which inspired him to eventually establish his own apiary on the California coast.

Today, Dimitri cares for 22 hives between San Francisco and Pescadero. He enjoys creating products with propolis, selling his honey at local pop-up markets, and leading beekeeping workshops with his partner. Outside of beekeeping, he enjoys coaching and playing soccer and mountain biking around Half Moon Bay and Pacifica.
