Jade is a poet, painter, gardener and writer. She is also a community herbalist who devotes her skills by sharing plant wisdom in neighborhoods that need it most. She has learned through elder herbalists, acupuncturists, and farmers; and has provided plant and herb workshops for families at the Horticultural Society of New York, Tenafly Nature Center, The Free Black Women’s Library and public gardens within the Tristate area.
